Reservation Prerequisites
Vaccinations must be current before any pet can stay with us. Proof of vaccination must be provided before boarding, daycare, or spa appointments. Records must show the vaccine name and expiration date. Please email to info@barkingacresclub.com or bring a copy to your visit.

Free Stay or Play – First-Time Guest Evaluation
To make sure Barking Acres is the right fit for your pup, we offer a complimentary first day of daycare or boarding (two-night minimum stay) for all new customers. This evaluation day helps us learn more about your dog’s personality, play style, and comfort level in our environment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Visiting from out of town? If you’re unable to complete the evaluation in advance, your dog’s first boarding day will serve as their evaluation. If we determine our facility isn’t the best match, we may request early pickup and ensure your pet is kept separate to prioritize comfort and safety.
Deposits Are Required For All Boarding Reservations
A 50% deposit of the reservation base rate is required at the time of drop off for reservations. Reservations must be cancelled at least 3 days prior to arrival date. For holiday and peak season stays, cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to arrival date.
Holiday and Peak Season Reservations & Policies
A holiday rate of $12/night is added to the regular nightly rate for dog boarding during select holidays. A 3-night minimum stay is required.
A peak season rate of $6/night is added to the regular rate during high-demand periods. A 2-night minimum stay is required.
Cancellations for Holidays and Peak Season must be made 7 days before your reservation start date. Late cancellations will incur a 1-night holiday charge.

Office Hours & Closures
Our office is closed to the public on: Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. No drop-offs, pick-ups, or daycare on these days. Staff will still be on-site caring for all pets.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up Guidelines
• Drop-off for Boarding: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Pick-up for Boarding: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Daycare fee applied for late pickups unless paired with a full-service bath,
then pick up is 4:00 PM.
• Drop-off for Daycare: Mon - Fri: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Sat-Sun: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
No-Shows & Late Pick-Ups
Boarding or daycare dogs not picked up by closing will be boarded overnight with an additional late fee.
For boarding stays, check-out is by 12:00 PM. A late pick-up fee will be charged for any unscheduled departures after this time. If you plan to pick up your pet later in the day, please schedule a daycare stay in advance to avoid additional fees.
If you need to extend your pet’s boarding stay or switch a daycare reservation to overnight boarding, please contact us directly to confirm availability.
Discounts
We proudly offer a 10% discount on daycare and boarding services for military personnel, seniors, students, and Primary Care Animal Hospital clients as our way of showing appreciation and support.
