Dog Boarding Check-In Guide

What to Bring

• Required Vaccinations:

   - Rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza combo), and Bordetella (Canine Cough)

   - Upload current vaccine records in the app or email them to info@barkingacresclub.com

• Medications (if applicable):

   - Clearly labeled with dosage and instructions

   - Pill pockets or treats if needed for administration

• Food:
   - If you bring your own food: please pre-portion meals in labeled bags or provide a labeled container with a scoop            or measuring cup. We can refrigerate or freeze food if needed. 

   - Do not bring personal dog bowls unless your dog uses a slow feeder. 

   - We feed twice daily (Breakfast & Dinner). Lunch can be offered if needed. 

   - If you do not bring your own food, we will feed with Nutrisource Turkey & Rice at an additional cost of $4/day.

   - All treats welcomed.

• Bedding & Toys

   - We will allow one bed or one blanket per stay. Please note: if bedding becomes soiled and needs to be washed, t.            there is a risk of loss or damage. Do not bring irreplaceable items.

   - We will allow one to two toys to help your pet feel comfortable. We are not responsible for toys that become                      damaged or destroyed. Please do not bring toys if your dog is known to chew, ingest, or destroy items, as this may          pose a foreign body risk.

• Please Do Not Bring:
    - Multiple beds, blankets, toys, or excessive personal items. Toys that may pose a choking hazard.

Check-In Process

1. Arrival
   - Please arrive 10–15 minutes early for check-in 
   - Check in time between the hours of: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. The Office is Closed for Lunch Daily from          12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.

2. Forms & Updates
  - Review and sign the boarding agreement
  - Confirm emergency contact and veterinary information
  - Provide any updates on health, behavior, or feeding

3. Pet Handoff
  - A team member will greet your pet and escort them to their suite
  - We’ll do a quick wellness check at drop-off

 

During Their Stay

• Daily wellness checks, playtime, and rest in a climate controlled suites
• Optional add-ons: grooming or bathing
• Text & photo updates available daily for all boarders

 

Check-Out Process

• Pick-up hours: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. The Office is Closed for Lunch Daily from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. 
• Late check-outs after 4:00 PM will incur an additional fee of  $10 and is by 5:00 PM at the latest.
